Abstract Submission will open early 2020 for our next conference! Stay tuned!

Submission Topics:
Presentations on topics related to palliative care for all age groups, including but not limited to: Care of patients with life-threatening, life-limiting or terminal illness, end-of-life decision making, grief and bereavement, pain and/or symptom management, psychosocial / spiritual factors, role of interdisciplinary teams, and caregiver issues in palliative care with an emphasis on wellbeing.

Types of Presentations:

• Individual speaker

• Symposium (2-3 speakers).  Note: Presentation content for all members of
symposium must be included in a single abstract submission (i.e.,
symposium presentation must be comprised of a single study or topic).

Presentation Length:
All presentations will be scheduled for 60 minutes, which should include time for questions from the audience.

Audio/Visual Equipment Provided:
Projector, projector screen, and microphone. We may be offering laptops for use this year, we are looking into the cost of this and will be updating as soon as we have an answer. In the past, presenters bring their own laptops and have their presentations queued up. However this has posed some challenges for the AV tech in years past, so we are investigating a solution.

For empirical studies, please provide: your research question(s), population, sample size, methodology, results, interpretation, clinical implications, and applicability to allied healthcare professionals. Presenters will be allotted 60 minutes to present (including audience discussion).
